Successful story of TVLP alumni: Yuri Grassi, Evensi raises $2.5M seed round

A great success from a TVLP Alumnus, Yuri Grassi and his startup Evensi. In February 2019, Evensi succeeded to raise $2.5M from Regency Corporate (Australia) and Barcamp Ventures (Italy).

Yuri has graduated at TVLP Institute in Silicon Valley in May 2016 while working on his venture. Before launching Evensi, Yuri worked as consultant in developing web-marketing campaigns for different events while completing the University studies in computer science. In 2013 he cofounded Evensi with a friend in Modena, Italy. After attending the TVLP program the company  headquarter moved to San Francisco.

Evensi uses an automated semantic algorithm that extracts, filters and evaluates every single event. It offers an integrated crossplatform and multi-language technology. A frictionless desktop and mobile experience let users to select events and organizers publish and promote events. Evensi filters all events based on user interests, location and date. So users just see the most relevant events.

Now days, Evensi has grown up to an events search engine where users can find more than 150 million events per year based on their interests, worldwide.

There are around 5 million active events in each moment, and around 50 million visitors globally. The company team counts 19 persons in 4 offices: in Modena, with engineers dedicated to the product and software development; in San Francisco as corporate headquarter; in London and Cordoba (Argentina) for sales and clients support.
